What Wayframer does
Wayframer covers the part of strategic planning where the strategy is chosen. A team states where it wants to be, diagnoses what stands in the way, and tests real alternatives against the same criteria until one is left standing. The chosen strategy then becomes plans, tactics and initiatives in the same place, with the reasoning kept beside them.
How it works
- Start an endeavor. Name the goal. A short discovery conversation with Huxley, the built-in assistant, captures where the business is and where it needs to go.
- Map the frameworks. Break the endeavor into strategy frameworks on the framework map, one for each strategic question.
- Work each framework. Its workspace holds the values, aspiration, diagnosis and strategy alternatives for its question.
- Test the alternatives. The Strategy Alternatives Matrix tests every alternative against the same fitness criteria until one is left standing.
- Lock and hand over. Locking the strategy gathers everything into the Implementation Pack, which you can export as a PDF.
