Wayframer

Terms of Service

Last updated 28 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Wayframer, the strategy planning service at wayframer.com, including the app, Huxley and the public site. "Wayframer", "we" and "us" mean the team that runs Wayframer. "You" means the person using Wayframer, and the organisation you act for if you use it for one. By creating an account or using Wayframer, you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 to use Wayframer, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.

  • Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.

  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us straight away at hello@wayframer.com if you think someone else has used it.

  • If you create an account for an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. Your content

Your content is everything you or your team put into Wayframer: endeavors, frameworks, notes, files, comments, conversations with Huxley and the rest. You keep ownership of it.

You give us permission to host, copy, process and display your content only as far as we need to run Wayframer for you. That includes sending parts of it to the providers listed on our Sub-processors page, such as our AI providers when you use Huxley. When you share work, the people you share it with can see it, and can change it if you let them.

You are responsible for your content and for having the right to put it into Wayframer. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal data in it.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Wayframer to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else to

  • store or share content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is unlawful, harassing or harmful

  • upload malware, or try to get into accounts, data or systems you have no right to

  • probe or test our security, except under the rules on our Security page

  • overload the service, scrape it, or get around its limits

  • copy, resell or rebuild Wayframer without our written agreement

  • generate content that breaks the usage policies of our AI providers

We may remove content or limit an account that breaks these rules.

4. Huxley and AI output

Huxley and the other AI features generate text with models from third-party providers. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and can sound confident when it is mistaken. Treat it as input to your own thinking, and check anything important, or take professional advice, before you rely on it. The decisions you make with Wayframer are yours.

As between you and us, output generated for you is yours to use, subject to these terms and the law. Other people may receive similar output for similar requests.

5. Plans and payment

Some features may need a paid plan or credits. Before you pay, we will show you the price, what it includes and how billing works. Payments are handled by Stripe. Payments are non-refundable unless the terms shown when you buy say otherwise, or the law gives you a right to a refund. If a price changes, we will tell you before the change applies to you.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Wayframer available and your work safe, and we cannot promise that the service will always be available or free of errors. We may need to pause it for maintenance or to deal with a problem. We improve Wayframer continually, so features may change, and we may add or remove them. Features marked as beta are early versions and may change more often.

7. Our rights

Wayframer, its software, design, names and logos, and the Emergent Approach materials we provide belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you the right to use Wayframer as described here and no other rights in it. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

8. Ending your use

  • You can stop using Wayframer and delete your account at any time from Settings.

  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or that we must close by law. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

  • If you want a copy of your content before your account closes, email hello@wayframer.com.

  • When an account closes, we handle its data as our Privacy Policy describes. Sections 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12 continue to apply.

9. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, Wayframer is provided "as is" and "as available", and we give no warranties beyond those set out in these terms.

10. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill

  • our total liability to you for all claims about Wayframer is limited to the amount you paid us for Wayframer in the 12 months before the claim arose

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Responsibility for misuse

If you use Wayframer for an organisation, the organisation will cover our reasonable costs from claims by others that arise from its content or from a breach of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country where the business that runs Wayframer is established, and its courts will decide any dispute. If you use Wayframer as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim there.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Wayframer after that, the new terms apply.
